We went to Movie World on Tuesday!!

It was so awesome.

There were so many good rides and shows.

The rides I liked were Superman Escape, Scooby Doo  Spooky Coaster, Wild West Falls.

Shows I like: Stunt Driver, Batman Show. (There was lot's of other shows but I never watched them 'cause I was having fun on rides).

Holiday

Holiday!!

We had lot's of fun there, it was so awesome.

One week ago Monday, we went to the Gold Coast (Queensland Australia).

 On the Monday we got to Wet'n'wild at 9.45 AM, and lined up.

After it opened at 10.00 AM, we went in.

All day we had lot's of fun there on all of the rides.

My favourite was Kamikaze.

We left at about 3.50 PM, because it was cold and we had to get to Sea World Resort, and unpack.

After we unpacked, we went to a place, where we had a buffet Tea. Which is all you can eat.

Then after tea, went back to the Resort and went to bed.

In the morning we had a Buffet Breakfast, at the Resort (Which was good).

We only had to walk just outside of the Resort to come to Sea World.

At Sea World we saw a Dolphin Show, which was so amazing.

We went to the Shark Pool, which had lot's of Sharks, and fishes in it.

The next day we went to Sea World again, and went to the Water Park there.

And we left about 1:30PM, and arrived home later that day.

We had a wonderful holiday.

Sorry I didn't post for ages.

Soccer Update

We versed the best team from last year, and we won.

In the end we scored 3 goals, and they scored 0.

We are pretty good this year.

In the first half I was right-back, but every time there was a corner I had to go up a kick the corner kick. 

I was captain this week, but someone said it was for the whole year, but I'm not sure.

Our family is going to the Gold Coast tomorrow. We are going to Wet'n'Wild (a theme park). We're staying over night, and going to Seaworld the next day (which will be fun, cause I've never been there. And we're staying over again and coming back home the next day.

It will be fun.

I'll post about it on Wednesday when I get back.

Ten Pin Bowling

We went to Ten Pin Bowling on Tuesday

It was heaps of fun
We went because it was a Home Education excursion

I'm pretty good.

My score was 113, it wasn't my best score but a pretty good score for me, my best score is 129.
I won in my lane
I got one strike and 5 spares.
And 4 of them I got in a row.

Race Day

Today we had the home schooling sports day we have every year.

It was so fun!

There was so many more people than usually there

The races included:

Age Race (100 metre sprint)

 Long Distance (the age division I was in was 1200 metre's long)

Discus

Shot put

Long jump

Javelin 

Then there were the fun ones

There was:

Team relays

3 legged race

 Sack Race

And one of my favorites Tug of War, then usually after we done the ones for the teams we have the Dads vs Kids.

The position I came in the races:

First for Age Race (sprint)

Third for the long distance race (came first in my age division boys)

Second in the shot put

Second in the Discus

Second in Javelin

Second in Long Jump

My team "Green Machine" came first in points from the two other teams, the Red Rockets and the Blue Storm.

In Senior age division that is ages from 1993-1997, I had a tie with Legolas , with the points I got from all the races, and got a medallion for Senior Boys Champion. 

Show

My family went to the Show this year, it was the first time in 4 years.

Tigger and I went on the Dodgem Cars, it was lot's of fun.

Tigger was mean to everyone he crashed straight into everybody (not head on) always when another person went around a corner.


We watched a man that said what to do when a snake bit you and about different snakes how poisonous they were and lots of other things.
My little brothers and sister fed some sheep, goats and some pigs.
They had fun doing that I think!

Tigger and Sam went on a ride called the hang-over it went upside-down and swung up and down.
Sam felt very sick at the end, and Tigger loved it and wants to go on it again.

And then we got show bags and left.
It was awesome.

Gorge

We went to the Gorge last weekend with some of the people from Church.
The owner of the property lets people go to his place, you camp for $15 or sleep in the Shack for $20 a night.


It was wet there and the river was a bit higher than it is normally, and the water-fall was noisier and a lot bigger than normal.


 It was fun but there was a problem we couldn't go out side of the Shack most of the second day, because of the rain.

Holiday

Our holiday was fun!

When we wanted to go to beach we only had to walk about 50 metres, we just had to walk up a little hill and then you got to the beach.

 

One day we had to find some shells up the beach, because this term we are doing marine life for science.

And I found some pretty nice shells but not the best I ever seen.

We found a rock that looks like a biscuit, Tigger and I thought it was a plastic at first (we hit it with a rock before we believed it was a rock).


 We brought two of our bikes with us to ride.
On our second week, Tigger and I went for a bike ride, we went about 2 kilometres from the place we were renting.

 
It was the time that people can put stuff they don't want any more out on the side of the road, so Tigger and I were looking at the stuff and found a unicycle.


It was in perfect condition - well not perfect condition it just had a flat tire and we had to cut a bit of the steel thingy that holds up the seat because it was too tall for us and couldn't go any lower.
We went fishing and caught some big fish.

We had fun on the tube, and one day it was raining so went and brought our own tube, because the other one that we had was a friend of ours tube.         

Holiday

We are going to go to the beach tomorrow for 2 weeks. 

We're renting a holiday house.

It backs onto the beach.

We're going to take our boat so that means we are going to go fishing, boating fun, and have a great lot of fun at the beach.

We haven't been on a beach holiday for about 3 years but we have been on other holidays.

Camping

Some of my brothers and I went for a sleep over a couple of weeks ago at our friend's place.

It was fun, we camped in their paddock, we camped about 6 minutes away from their house.

It was so fun swimming in their dam, they have a flying-fox.
We cooked our own tea right next to the dam.
I don't have any photos because Will Treaty forgot to take the camera.
But you can look at one of us unpacking the car here.

Jacaranda

It was Jacaranda a couple of weeks ago, Jacaranda is 2 weeks where Jacaranda trees are purple.

And there is Jacaranda Thursday in those 2 weeks.

Jacaranda Thursday is a festival on our main street, there's markets and the shops do plays (well I don't like most of the plays that the shops do) and in the morning you get free breakfast.

That Saturday after Jacaranda Thursday, are floats where lot's of trucks, cool cars, and school students are on the back of some of the trucks.
There are Jacaranda Queens each Jacaranda, and on one of the Sundays the Jacaranda Queens go to our church.   

Speed-Way

I went to the Speedway last Saturday with my family.

It was good fun, the best part of the Speedway was when some of the racer's had crashes.

The price was cheap (it was only $35 for  family on medicare card.)

There were Stockrods, Amca Nationals, Limited Sedans, Stocker's, Four Cylinders, and Juniors(14 to 16 year old's.)

There was a couple of crashes, in one of them the petrol tank lit on fire and the driver went around the track one more lap before he stopped. When he stopped a other car went smashing into it, the fire truck was in-front of the car for a while.

When we were waiting for the finals to begin, there was a panda in a car doing burn-outs.

The Speedway started 6:00pm and finished at 9:44pm.

I hope we go again soon.
